When Ginny Turner arrives to take up her new post as Regimental Admin Officer, there are mixed feelings on 'the patch'. Her old friend Maddy is delighted: Ginny is fun, good company, and will brighten things up no end. Alice Davies, wife of Commanding Officer Bob Davies, is less pleased. She remembers Ginny from an earlier posting as being 'a bit fast'. Ginny herself is excited, not least at the prospect of being reunited with her old boss, for whom she has long held a candle.
